Baby Length: 14.8 inches head to heel

Baby weighs as much as: A Chinese Cabbage
Weight gain/loss: Up 2 lbs this week for a total gain of 19 lbs.
Maternity clothes? Finally wore them!! I was in Chicago last week from Monday to Wednesday, and I had to break out a pair of Pea in the Pod cute black maternity pants. I wore them 2 days in a row. I'm still wearing dresses otherwise, but I did make those work for the meeting.
Stretch marks? Nope
Sleeping? Ugghhh....sleep is not good these days. I could stay up all night because I just feel restless when I lay down. I sometimes feel nausea when I lay down as well hot and sweaty. Its the opposite of awesome.
Best moment this week: Got to hang out with my sister Kelly when I was in Chicago. We had the best mani/pedi's ever. Seriously, it was amazing. Also we finally picked out the appliances for the new house. We're going with some nice Jenn-Air Pro Line. I wish this was my actual kitchen...but unfortunately, there will not be 2 chandeliers in our kitchen!

Miss anything? I miss seared tuna. I realized how much I missed it when I was at a business dinner and someone ordered it. It used to be my go-to dish when traveling. Now I have to settle for a steak ;) Not that a steak is bad, but I've always been a sushi grade tuna kind of girl.
Feel any movement? I look forward to laying down at night! I love how crazy the baby is in there. Jake has to look away sometimes because it freaks him out how distorted in shape my stomach becomes when little Nashable changes positions. I get a little lopsided looking sometimes.
Food cravings: Carbs...I have my 1 hr Glucose tolerance screening on Friday (test for Gestational Diabetes) and somehow knowing I need to watch my carbs makes me want to to eat more carbs. Cookies, cookies, cookies.

Anything making you queasy or sick: I've noticed a return of the 1st trimester dizziness and nausea. Not sure why, but its here and back in full effect. Its not all the time but it comes and goes pretty consistently.
Gender: Team Green!
Labor Signs: Not really. Just a little Cramping and BHs contractions from time to time. They pass on their own pretty quickly.
Symptoms: I was so swollen after flying! It was ridiculous! I've never been someone to swell in my legs, ankles and feet, and they were almost unrecognizable after getting off the plane home from Chicago. I also get dizzy and overheated a lot. Waiting in airport security lines, and sitting in 8 hour meetings under hot lights with no windows was not my favorite thing this week.
Belly Button? Still in but barely! Its clinging on for dear life. I've noticed its sensitive and sore, and the old belly button piercing from college is red and irritated. I knew I never should have gotten that dumb thing.
Wedding rings? Always tight.
Happy or Moody? Moody/depressed. I was pretty bummed at the end of this week. I failed the 1 hr Glucose screening test. By a decent amount too.... I got a 160 and was supposed to be less than 135 :( It doesn't mean I have gestational diabetes, but it does mean that I have to continue to monitor my diet and go in again next week to repeat the screening with the 3 hr Glucose screening test. I'm dreading it because the drink tastes like hell - imagine the most concentrated Hawaiian punch you've ever tasted in your life! It did cheer me up when we went to our friends the Cohron's for dinner Friday night, and I learned that Ashley had failed her 1 hr test too, but still passed the 3 hr. Jake wasn't very happy with me when I celebrated my failure with a piece of Ashley's homemade ice cream cake. Oh well...you win some, you lose some!

Here is a pic of 28 weeks in a cute dress and then in pants that come up to my bra ;) I'm popping more and more each day, but I still feel like I am small compared to most women at 28 weeks. It must be my abnormally long torso that is 2 times longer than anyone else on earth.
